reCAPTCHA Knows

creepy_recaptchaSo I have been working on a project that needs a reCAPTCHA validation that is a bit customized. Well while I was working on it I had to refresh the page quite a few times and some how it came up with my last name. I am taking that to be a bit creepy, I mean what are the odds of that actually happening it must be really remote. I wonder what it will know next…

I love this! I’m fully expecting a Baldwin concert on Monday morning. I will have a request list prepared. You’ll probably want to get familiar with Celine Dion lyrics.

Well, I can tell you that my last name is VERY rare (especially in this country (not the one listed above)) and it came up on a reCAPTCHA verification on a craigslist posting. It is very creepy, given that reCAPTCHA has the appearance of an unconnected, innocuous program or app.

Zune and iPod: Most people compare the Zune to the Touch, but after seeing how slim and surprisingly small and light it is, I consider it to be a rather unique hybrid that combines qualities of both the Touch and the Nano. It’s very colorful and lovely OLED screen is slightly smaller than the touch screen, but the player itself feels quite a bit smaller and lighter. It weighs about 2/3 as much, and is noticeably smaller in width and height, while being just a hair thicker.
